I'm looking for the magic, the sparkle, and the joy that comes from being with that one right person; the one whose kiss can take my breath away. That first date, that first smile, when you lean in for that first kiss, the conversation that happens beneath the words, when we both know that we click, when we sit talking for hours and don't want the evening to end, when the little voice inside our head says, "This is who I've been waiting for. Through the joys and sorrows of the past 40 years I've learned that the relationships we build with those we love are far more important than any material items we have. We all need that one special person who will help us celebrate the good days and comfort us through the bad. If you're lucky enough to find that special someone, you realize that it's worth the work, understanding, support and commitment that a relationship requires. It's also worth waiting for.
